This museum is located on the edge of Moorabbin airport a little outside of Melbourne. It dates back to 1965. Part of the collection is outside and included some firsts for me such as the Bristol Freighter and DC2 which is currently under restoration. There are also a coupe of hangars one of which houses the star of the collection - a Bristol Beaughfighter. This started the museum when it was recovered form a children's playground in the early 60s. Space is at something of a premium it would appear and there are several exhibits in store, including the Avro Lincoln formerly at Southend and then with Charles Church as a spares aircraft for his Lancaster project. Anyway, here are some shots of what I saw.
