Just a few 'snaps' from today's 'Jolly' to IWM/DX/FL 2018 . Not posted any shots of CR.42 because Bruce Almighty's right-hand man asked me not too until Saturday. But I'll assume the boss will be posting anyway. Looking good for you.

I can confirm it was out for the morning parked in front of the Gold Pass/VIP enclosure and that there was no rack deliberately, or not, placed in the way.
A couple of traffic cones were in situ but were succinct in their presence...

M25 closure meant I arrived late and missed the flight line walk but I could see it wasn't there. Commentary confirmed it was present 'earlier' but I couldn't track it down in the time before flying started. Catch it another time hopefully.

Supposed to be on static display. I thought they were going to put it on the grass in front of the tower/tent area like they did with the all-metal finish Curtiss Hawk thingy. Maybe they were concerned about the heat on the fabric and kept it in the hangar ?

You should have posted your cr42 shot Gaz as I never saw it today!

Yes indeed. I was hoping for the Grumman HU5 at Oban but not to be.

Cheers Gaz,

Shame the B-25s left the previous day eh!

Also re CR 42 they placed two racks in front of it from the hangar side. worse than a road cone. Hun Hunter was due in but was still at Biggin and with thunderstorms at Biggin mid morning to lunch, leaving it late.

I saw Miss Velma's new colours splashed all over the place. I like it! Quite the turnaround to get her repaired since her prang last year.

Heard you were lurking around from Rob B - I took a shot of the Fiat - think brown is the in colour this season!!!
