D/X 6 July

Heading north Friday I popped in to Duxford to become a Friend of the IWM instead of a FOD as previously. There's no additional benefit in the new scheme as far as I am concerned but there is a £30 year 1 discount so I've joined for now. It was also an excuse for a look around with plenty of pre FL preparations going on. Either this or the hot weather meant several of the hangar doors were open which was good. Buchon White 9 arrived just as I was leaving so I caught it only from the car park but as I bought my Legends tickets I should see it next week anyway.

Berlin Express was pulled from the show. Any idea why?

Thanks for those Peter. Will look forward to more from this coming weekend. Wish I could be there.

Nice captures here. Thanks for the advance 'early warning' shot of the blue and white 'danger overhead' blue and white road cones. Wonder if next on the cards is 'safety gimp hats' similar to cyclists wear ? That big star and bar shows up on the 'Nellie' shot. Nice Sally-B shot on the grass.
