Duxford pre-60th 'Jolly'.

AviationPosted by Gary Sat, March 24, 2018 18:13:29
Had a run out this morning to Duxford with the intention of going onto Shuttleworth to see AR501 no longer in bits but started to feel unwell, so ran for home. Saw 'Pen Pusher' aka Brian Marshall doing what he loves doing in the Aerospace hangar. Great to see him out there and looked like he had spied something from the top gallery walkway. HAC was going 'punter's ' a £70 'special' and all seem to going well. Bruce Almighty's aircraft were in'bits' which is normal for this time of year. Some images contain certain items which some viewer's might find disturbingsmiley

Wonder what it would look like in a FAA/RN colour-scheme for a change ?

Avenger's been "grounded" for almost three years now -

It used to be strung from the ceiling in the American museum, they brought it down at the last revamp

Strange. I don’t ever recall seeing a turkey there. Has that Avenger always been there?

Much better thanks.
